Family Consulting Services
Many families have made numerous, but unsuccessful,
attempts to help their addicted loved ones. They may have
tried various approaches to control or “fix” the
addicted individual, but the illness progresses. They may
have sought help to relieve their suffering from resources
such as friends, clergy, doctors, lawyers and mental health
professionals.
Despite these efforts those addicted individuals
continue to struggle. Frustration, fear and anger build until
families reach the “jumping off point,” and seek
addiction-related professional help
Addiction Intervention Resources (AIR)
specializes in helping families of alcoholic/addicts
move out of a crisis situation and promotes the well-being
of families and addicted loved ones during and after treatment.
AIR provides the following
services:
- Consulting — When your family doesn’t
know what to do and wants to explore all available options,
AIR consultants provide treatment and intervention solutions.
We also provide individual consulting services coupled with
an addiction resource list.
- Intervention — Our professional
clinicians enter the crisis quickly and implement a confidential,
respectful process to gently interrupt the negative physical
/ emotional spiral of the addict and family. Through education,
action planning and a family meeting, an immediate attempt
is made to facilitate admission of the addicted individual
into an appropriate program of recovery.
- Recovery Management — AIR offers
two recovery management programs:
- Recovery Assurance Program for Families
— AIR’s Recovery Assurance Program (RAP)
is designed to improve recovery rates by helping people
effectively implement and follow their continuing care
plans. The program strives to provide access to appropriate
recovery resources, create individual accountability,
and serve as an advocate for recovery, while predicting
and preventing relapse. RAP services are modeled on
proven methodologies and designed to complement and
support lessons learned and skills acquired during treatment.

- Sober Coaching — AIR offers
two levels of sober coaching to help individuals (and
their families) transition from the secure and supportive
environment of a treatment center back to their home,
work or school. While our sober coaching programs cannot
and do not take the place of continuing care, they are
a valuable tool in progressing from the structure of
a treatment facility to the responsibility of everyday
sober life. Click

programs.
AIR adheres to a strict policy
of confidentiality and anonymity.
AIR does not receive any benefit
financially or in any other way from treatment facilities.
